My love for photography began during high school. I enjoyed the analog photography,
shooting film, developing the images using darkroom practices, I loved the calm, the quiet
of the darkroom and watching the image appear as you swished the paper in the
developer tray.
I continued my studies into tertiary education where I soon learned the digital applications of photography, Photoshop and shooting digital SLR.
Several years passed of overseas travel and living in different states of Australia, it wasn’t until late 2014 I was on my annual surf trip, G Land, Indonesia, I began shooting nature again, particularly the waves and realised why had I not pursued a career with this passion?
I returned to the Surf Coast of Victoria where I was currently living and began shooting Architectural photography during the weekends while I worked full time during the week.
My photography soon expanded into Lifestyle and capturing movement within yoga and fitness, I noticed the connection I shared with the client while we created golden light moments together.
This was the turn around, I began shooting with active wear brands and had planned to move to Sydney to dedicate my life as a Freelance Photographer, however, life detoured me to Bali.
With my love for surfing, tropical climate and endless photographic scenes, I was happy settling in Bali temporarily.
Two and a half years later in Bali, my partner and I relocated to Western Australia, where we travelled back and forth from Australia to Indonesia, balancing both locations as home.
With my time between Australia and Asia my reputation as a Retreat Photographer flourished, documenting a vast range of Retreats; fitness, surf, yoga, meditation, women empowerment, how to live a glowing life, becoming a goddess, however, a familiar pattern emerged for women based Retreats.
I connected with people from across the world as Bali is a central hub for health, wellness and others living an entrepreneurial career. I bonded with women on the Retreats, I began listening and realised many women, no matter where they’re from, their upbringing, their present moment, often found this unhappiness within themselves and we all deserve to be LOVED.
I found it joyous and inspiring capturing these women and truly showing their inner beauty, capturing the women at their most vulnerable and happiest moment, I believe everyone is beautiful in their own right, a great photographer will capture and show the beauty of everyone.
I continue to grow my clientele from across the world, travelling and capturing, connecting with like minded individuals and continuing these new found friendships that allow me to live my passions; as a travel photographer, experiencing the world and creating pure beauty with my clients.
